Our commitment

Accessibility Statement

We want every family to be able to use this website — including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or a larger text size.

What we are working toward

We are building this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Those guidelines are the widely used standard for making web content easier to use for people with disabilities.

We are not claiming that every page fully meets that standard today. Accessibility is ongoing work, and parts of this site are still being built and tested. When we find a problem, we fix it.

What we check

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone.
  • Text and background colors have enough contrast to read comfortably.
  • Images and buttons carry text descriptions for screen readers.
  • Headings are in a sensible order, so pages are easy to skim.
  • Pages still work when text is enlarged or the layout is narrow.
  • Movement and animation are reduced if your device asks for that.
